Business Leaders Invited To £1.5M Launch
Our new £1.5 million industrial/warehousing development in the Black Country is to be officially unveiled at a business support event later this month.
Work was completed on Progress Point, a 21,000 sq ft of high spec warehouse and industrial space on its flagship Pensnett Estate, Kingswinford, in March - a month ahead of schedule.
Now, an event is bring held on April 30 in one of the high quality units to showcase the support and funding opportunities that are available to businesses in the Black Country.
During the event Ninder Johal, president of the Black Country Chamber, will officially launch Progress Point, which comprises three blocks, with units ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 9,000 sq ft. There has already been strong interest in the units from a number of businesses.
More than eight business support organisations have signed up to exhibit at the Black Country Business Support event, including Invest Black Country, Dudley Business First, UK TI, Dudley Council Employment Scheme, and the Growth Accelerator Programme.
The Skills Factory, Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Small Businesses, Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre and the Manufacturing Advice Service are also planning to attend.
Ninder Johal, president of the Chamber, said: "There are many growing businesses in the Black Country that need support as they look to expand or increase staff and this event will enable them to find a lot of agencies that can provide much-needed assistance, all under one roof.
"We very much welcome LCP's confidence in the region by investing significantly in a new development that is targeted at warehousing and industrial firms."
Andrew Preston, industrial property manager, said the event would enable businesses to see the new units at Progress Point and pick up valuable advice about the support they could get if they plan to grow.
"We are looking forward to welcoming companies to Progress Point. This launch event will be the ideal opportunity for local businesses to get some sound advice on the funding and support they can receive from the various Black Country-based agencies," he said.
This free event, which takes place between 10am-2pm, is open to all businesses in the Black Country, for more details, please contact: Katie Yates at LCP. Telephone 01384 400123 or email KYates@lcpproperties.co.uk
