Zone 3 reaches full occupancy at Multipark Burntwood following two new lettings
"These two lettings reflect the strength of demand we're seeing across the park, from an established local business extending its footprint to a growing national operator setting up a new regional hub. Multipark Burntwood's location on the A5190, combined with the scale and specification of the units, continues to make it a strong choice for occupiers with very different operational needs."
Multipark Burntwood has confirmed two new lettings in Zone 3 of the business park. Drive In Golf has taken Unit B2 and The Modern Milkman has let Unit 5, both on five year leases.
Drive In Golf has signed for 2,977 sq ft at Unit B2 and opened to the public on 31st August. Burntwood will be Drive In Golf's second site alongside its existing Derby centre, offering Trackman golf simulator bays, PGA-run lessons, a club fitting and repair workshop, and party and corporate hire packages.
Nigel Bratton, Director of Drive In Golf, said: "Multipark Burntwood is a great location and was an immediate top choice for Drive in Golf when we were looking for a property in the area. With a great location, really well built units and the level of investment being put into the immediate area, it just stands out as a fantastic site for any business or facility. Our original plans were to try to open a facility in Lichfield, but Burntwood Multipark offered a much better fit and alignment with every box we wanted to tick for our new venue."
The Modern Milkman has taken the adjacent 4,097 sq ft Unit 5, which was completed on 30th August following taking a full refurbished unit completed by the landlord. The Modern Milkman will use the site as a regional hub supporting its doorstep delivery service for fresh milk, groceries and household products. The Modern Milkman will use the site as a regional hub supporting its doorstep delivery service, which supplies fresh milk in returnable glass bottles and groceries in reusable or recyclable packaging to customers up to three times a week, alongside its wider household products range. The business is B Corp certified and has previously won The Grocer's Best New Business award.
Nick Bryson, Director at LCP UK, part of M Core, and Asset Manager to Multipark Burntwood, said: "These two lettings reflect the strength of demand we're seeing across the park, from an established local business extending its footprint to a growing national operator setting up a new regional hub. Multipark Burntwood's location on the A5190, combined with the scale and specification of the units, continues to make it a strong choice for occupiers with very different operational needs."
Both transactions were completed by Daniel Packer Legal Counsel (UK) at LCP UK, part of M Core on behalf of the landlord.
