Vegan, Cruelty-Free Brand Opens A Studio And Office In Ivybridge
An independent brand that sells vegan and cruelty-free toiletries is opening an office at a Devon shopping centre.
CONCHUS is to be based at Glanvilles Mill in Ivybridge in July, after agreeing a six-year lease for an office space with LCP, which manages the shopping centre on behalf of landlords Sheet Anchor.
Camilla Dyer, director of CONCHUS, makes all-natural, vegan, cruelty free, palm-oil free and plastic-free body, face and shampoo bars, as well as skincare, for all the family, and sells via the CONCHUS website.
"She said she was excited to have a studio and office base for her company, from where she will make her products.
"We ran a business from our home in Buckinghamshire for two years, but grew beyond our wildest dreams, and had gradually engulfed our home," she said.
"When we decided to move to Devon, we knew we had to start this new adventure with a separate space for our business. I was worried that business space would be limited in such a small town, and I wouldn't find what I was hoping for, but I found the perfect space at Glanvilles Mill: it's right next to the beautiful River Erme, is a few minutes' walk from home, is well maintained and for the first time I'll be surrounded with other lovely, small businesses.
"Our aim is to encourage and inspire people to make positive choices in life, for themselves and the environment, and give back to charities and organisations who support people in need."
Howard Roddis, LCP director, added: "I'm pleased to welcome CONCHUS to Glanvilles Mill, which sits at the gateway to Dartmoor National Park. Not only is it a welcome new business to the town, it also adds to the vibrant tenant mix at the shopping centre."
