Greggs And Subway Heading To Penkridge
Bakery chain Greggs and sandwich chain Subway are to open units at the newly extended Boscomoor Shopping Centre in Penkridge.
Building work has begun at the retail parade to create an additional two retail units, with Greggs taking a 1,270 sq ft unit, while Subway has agreed terms for a 950 sq ft unit.
The £400,000 investment will see the units open in September 2018 and comes as the company commits to improving the retail offering for local residents.
Andrew Barrett, LCP retail director, said: "This extension to Boscomoor Shopping Centre has been a long time in the planning and we are delighted that we are now able to start work on site, adding much-needed retail units to the parade."
Steve Pell, asset manager for the estate said: "With the addition of Greggs and Subway to this popular scheme and our investments into the landscaping and signage this will be the neighborhood parade the residents of Penkridge can be proud of."
Boscomoor currently has nine units, anchored by the Co-op. It benefits from a prominent roadside location off the A449, which runs through the heart of Penkridge, and there are 50 car parking spaces.
