Subway Joins Retail Parade In Penkridge
Sandwich chain Subway opens a new store today (November 8 2019) at the newly extended Boscomoor Shopping Centre in Penkridge, Staffordshire.
It has completed works on a 950 sq ft adjacent unit and joins bakery chain Greggs, which opened its 1,270 sq ft shop last month.
Both occupiers have moved into newly built units, that LCP, the national commercial and investment company which owns and manages the parade, commissioned following a significant investment to meet growing demand for local convenience shopping.
Martin Wade, LCP asset manager, said: "We're pleased that our new tenants have opened their doors at Boscomoor Shopping Centre. The extension to this popular local centre means that shoppers can enjoy a greater diversity of stores on their doorstep with the element of convenience."
In addition to building the two new retail units, LCP also has available unit 7b, a 1,980 sq ft retail space that is shell specification with capped services and prominent roadside location with free onsite customer parking. Joint agents are Burley Brown and fhp.
The commercial property and investment company has also improved the green space around the centre, to make the parade more visible from the roadside. Boscomoor Shopping Centre now has 11 units, anchored by the Co-op. It benefits from a prominent roadside location off the A449, which runs through the heart of Penkridge, and there are 50 car parking spaces.
