M Core Ventures and DNL Collective open first Speed Queen store at M Park Halewood, the first of six UK openings planned by year end

M Core has opened the first Speed Queen self-service laundry store under the new partnership between its venture capital arm, M Core Ventures, and operator DNL Collective.
The store at M Park Halewood opened on 1st October 2026.
Halewood is the first of six stores the partners expect to open across M Core’s UK retail parks before the end of 2026, with further launches planned through 2027. The partners intend to scale the rollout over the next five years, making Halewood the starting point of a long-term partnership.
The partnership pairs M Core’s UK retail park portfolio with DNL Collective’s experience in operating and scaling self-service launderettes, alongside the globally recognised Speed Queen brand from Alliance Laundry Systems. It brings modern, convenient and reliable laundry facilities into the community-focused parks M Core owns and manages, supporting repeat visits and enhancing the convenience offering for local shoppers.
